Job Description

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Creative Writer & Editor to craft compelling, on-brand narratives for Apple’s Douyin live streaming program. This role will shape how Apple connects with audiences in China through engaging scripts, seamless storytelling, and polished editorial content that brings our products and brand values to life in a livestream environment.

Script Development: Write and edit livestream scripts that balance product storytelling, feature demonstrations, ecosystem narratives, and audience engagement moments.

Editorial Alignment: Ensure all scripts reflect Apple’s brand voice while resonating with Douyin’s platform culture and the expectations of Chinese audiences.

Content Editing: Review and refine drafts from Product and Demo writers, creative writers, and Product Marketing feedback, elevating clarity, flow, and impact.

Audience Engagement: Embed interactive chat prompts, platform-native humor, and culturally relevant references that encourage participation and retention.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Production, Product Marketing, Marcom, Demo creators and RCC moderators, to ensure scripts are accurate, executable, and aligned with program objectives.

Quality Control: Maintain consistency, tone, and pacing across livestream programming, adapting content based on performance insights and audience feedback.

Compliance and Accuracy: Ensure scripts are vetted by appropriate teams including BA/GA/Legal/PM/Platform compliance guidelines.
