Analog Layout Engineer

As a member of the Analog Layout team, you will construct layout for a wide variety of designs, in a wide variety of technologies. You will need to work closely with circuit designers as well as other layout designers to ensure you deliver the highest quality layout achievable.

1. Deliver layout independently starting with initial floor planning and ending with fully verified, post-extracted layout (DRC, ERC, and LVS).
2. Conduct reviews for floor planning and final layout delivery.
3. Manage work progress to deliver per schedule.
4. Ensure quality and integrity of layout to meet design specifications.
5. Focus on teamwork to achieve team goals.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s Degree in technical discipline with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
2. Good understanding of analog layout fundamentals, electromigration, IR drop, parasitics, LDEs, and ESD.
3. Knowledge and understanding of Unix and CAD environments.
4. Proficiency in interpreting and debugging Calibre results.
5. Excellent verbal and written communication.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience mentoring junior layout engineers.
2. Experience in driving/achieving consensus within the team.
3. Experience covering both planar and FinFET nodes.
4. SKILL scripting capability to improve efficiency.
